Seminar on program accreditation and its role in the development of educational outcomes

The Pharmacy Techniques Department at the Institute organized a seminar on program accreditation and its role in developing educational outcomes.

Under the patronage of the President of the University and the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the Institute, the Pharmacy Techniques Department organized a seminar through the Quality Assurance Division entitled “Program Accreditation and Its Role in Developing Educational Outcomes.” The seminar was delivered by Mrs. Safaa Abdulrazzaq Kamel, a staff member of the department, and was attended by a number of the Institute’s affiliates.

The objectives of the seminar were:

Ensuring the quality of academic programs and meeting accredited accreditation standards.

Developing educational outcomes in line with labor market requirements.

Improving curricula and teaching and assessment methods.

Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the educational institution.

The seminar emphasized the following points:

Adopting clear and unified standards for program accreditation.

Engaging faculty members in the implementation of accreditation requirements.

Conducting periodic reviews of academic programs and updating their curricula.

Linking educational outcomes to the needs of the labor market and society.

Benefiting from evaluation results to improve the quality of education.

It is worth noting that the topic of the seminar falls under Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education), as it contributes to enhancing the quality of higher education through promoting a culture of program accreditation, improving academic programs, and developing educational outcomes in a way that ensures inclusive and equitable education and builds educational capacities capable of keeping pace with sustainable development requirements.
