Department of Electronic Technologies
The department was established in 1988 since the establishment of the institute. the Department receives students from the graduates of the preparatory study of the scientific branch ( applied and biological) and the professional study of the industrial branch exclusively and of both sexes. it aims at the numbers of middle technical cadres who hold a technical diploma. engineering sciences are received in the department in the fields of electronics, electrical circuits, communications, personal computers, precision, measuring devices, audio-visual devices And other specialized Sciences and give important lessons in the maintenance of devices . Students receive a two-month focused training at various industrial enterprises located in Salah al-Din governorate.
The department contains specialized scientific laboratories, namely (M. Measuring devices and M. Electronic circuits, M. Electrical circuits, Laboratory of Communications, M. Electronic, M. Computer, M. Audio-visual, M. Control (PLC), m . Digital circuits, M. Precision computers in addition to maintenance workshops and electrical laboratories )

Providing knowledge of electronic technologies and acquiring technical skill in the operation and maintenance of electronic devices ,providing the necessary knowledge to deal with computer technologies in its various fields.
The Department’s message
Providing experience in dealing with electronic devices, computers and modern technology and ways to benefit from them in various practical applications, how to deal with their solid materials and installation, and the necessary knowledge of electronic devices.
Department objectives
The department aims to graduate qualified technical staff to work in the operation and maintenance of electronic circuits, audio and video devices, receiving and transmitting devices and microprocessor circuits.
Job description of the graduate:
Providing the graduate with the necessary knowledge and skill to manage computer systems, how to deal with their hard materials and installation, and the necessary knowledge of electronic devices.
Providing the graduate with basic information in the field of computer specialization, starting from choosing the most suitable devices, passing through the basics of operation, to assembly and maintenance of both types.
Preparing and preparing the graduate to enter the world of work according to his various requirements while enabling him to understand the scientific developments in the field of computer and its networks and operation .
Preparing the graduate to be able to solve technical problems in the computer field, overcome malfunctions of his systems, analyze their causes, maintain, operate and install electronic devices .
Preparing the graduate to be able to identify and understand the sources and requirements of development in computer systems.
