Dour Technical Institute
The Technical Institute Al-Dour was established in 1988 and is one of the Iraqi technical institutes affiliated at the time to the Technical Education Authority / Ministry of higher education and scientific research, located in Salah al-Din governorate north of Baghdad, the capital, and (1) km from the center of the district of Dor began studying at the Institute in 1989. When the four technical universities were founded, the institute became one of the formations of the northern Technical University and each department has modern and advanced laboratories and specialized workshops in addition to the Information Technology Division. Starting from the academic year 2009-2010, evening study was restored at the Institute and the institute currently accommodates more than 4,000 students for morning and evening studies, and it is worth noting that the institute was vandalized by ISIS Takfiri gangs for the academic year 2013/2014, most of its facilities have been rehabilitated and the rehabilitation and development process continues to this day to reach very Optimal.
