Rehabilitation, employment and follow-up unit About the unit:
The idea of creating a rehabilitation, employment and follow-up unit emerged after the number of graduates increased excessively without there being a policy to regulate and address this increase. However, the creation of this division put the dots on the letters by finding successful solutions and changing the course of students’ ideas and orientations about a job in the private sector and the public sector.

Objectives of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division:
A graduate who works in local and international companies and has the capabilities that qualify him for the labor market.
Contributing to the development, development and qualification of graduates’ skills in a way that is compatible with the requirements of public and private sector companies, and as a result, reducing unemployment rates and integrating educational outcomes into the labor market.
Training and qualifying students with additional skills for the purpose of integrating them into the labor market by holding training workshops in this field.
Assisting in employing graduates by contacting government companies to find job opportunities that suit their aspirations and the academic experience they have gained at their university and training experience in the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division.
Coordinating, preparing, and holding job fairs in cooperation with private and governmental companies for the purpose of communicating with them by graduate students.
Following up on graduates after they are employed, indicating the strengths and weaknesses of their performance, and submitting periodic reports to their institutes regarding amending the curricula according to what the labor market requires.
Objectives of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division:
1-The department aims to develop the personal, scientific and life skills of students and graduates in a modern way and in line with the labor market.
2- Preparing students and graduates of the Hawija Technical Institute for the labor market and increasing their opportunities and rate of obtaining jobs by establishing useful connections and relationships with the local community, business owners, and surrounding areas where appropriate job opportunities may be available.
3- Increasing the competitiveness of graduates of the Hawija Technical Institute by providing basic training that qualifies them for this, providing them with the necessary skills to search for a job, and raising the degree of awareness of the needs of the labor market and its continuous change in order to increase their ability to enter the labor market and compete strongly.
4-The Rehabilitation and Employment Division also aims to train students and graduates in the skills necessary for success in the work environment, which requires continuous study of the changes occurring in the market, which entails continuous updating of the programs provided.
5- Providing specialized programs in the fields required by the nature of the jobs available in different fields to raise competitiveness.
6- Establishing strong relationships with employers to obtain the greatest amount of training and work opportunities for students and graduates of the Hawija Technical Institute.
7- Qualifying trainees to set ambitious and realistic goals, make informed decisions, and design appropriate action plans to measure and evaluate performance.
8- Facilitating the recruitment process for trainees as well as for employers by providing the necessary capabilities and requirements in the appropriate place.
9- Providing the necessary capabilities in appropriate ways to ensure the continuation of work in the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division.
