An International Scientific Symposium in collaboration with University of Plymouth on the Electrification of Modern Transportation Systems

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the Dean of the Engineering Technical College in Mosul, and in line with the university’s strategic orientation toward the internationalization of education and the strengthening of academic cooperation with British universities, the Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering Technologies organized a virtual scientific symposium.

The symposium was held in the presence of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet, and was conducted in collaboration with University of Plymouth under the title:

Transportation Electrification in Road Vehicles, Aircraft, Rolling Stock, and Watercraft

The symposium highlighted the latest global advancements in the field of transportation electrification, emphasizing its role in achieving environmental sustainability, reducing emissions, and enhancing the efficiency of land, air, rail, and maritime transportation systems.

The symposium was co-organized by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Qutaiba Shanshal and witnessed distinguished attendance from faculty members, researchers, and students. Participants enriched the discussions through their insightful contributions and scientific inquiries, underscoring the importance of such events in keeping pace with global technological developments and fostering a culture of innovation within academic institutions.
