Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, Dean of the Technical Engineering College / Mosul, and within the strategy adopted by the Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering Technologies to develop students’ technical and innovative skills, a scientific field visit was organized for the department’s students to the Innovation Lab.

The visit was attended by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet, along with faculty members of the department’s scientific committee. The visit aimed to strengthen the students’ practical skills and connect academic knowledge with real-world applications in an advanced interactive environment.

The tour included an introduction to the modern tools and technologies available within the laboratory, as well as providing students with the opportunity to learn about the mechanisms of implementing innovative projects, contributing to the refinement of their engineering skills and enhancing their ability to transform ideas into practical prototypes.

This initiative comes as part of the department’s commitment to guiding students toward making optimal use of the scientific facilities available within the university and enabling them to complete graduation projects and scientific research efficiently and effectively, in line with the rapid developments in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles and their modern applications.
