An overview of the Technical College of Management / Mosul

The Technical College of Management / Mosul is one of the formations of the Northern Technical University of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Technical College of Management/ Mosul was established in 2007 to keep abreast of the scientific and technological developments and modern scientific trends and aspects of its application. Departments of the College:

The college includes four scientific departments

1. The Department of Accounting Techniques, which is recently created in the academic year 2022-2023 with the efforts and follow-up of the respected President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and the respected Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Taha Yassin.
2. Department of Business Administration Techniques.
3. Department of Information Technology management .
4. Department of Statistics and Informatics Techniques.

The college aims to prepare technical staff in line with contemporary trends in the field of business administration, Information Technology management . statistics, informatics and accounting within the framework of integration between theoretical and applied frameworks to secure highly efficient technical outputs in managing activities in the public and private sectors using modern techniques and methods, electronic programs and statistical applications. Job’s description for college graduates: The college grants a bachelor’s degree in technical management sciences. The duration of study is four academic years, during which the student receives theoretical aspects as well as practical applications. The student passes two training stages in government departments and institutions for a month in the second and third stages. The graduate of Business Administration Techniques is awarded the title of ( Associate Observer ). The graduate of  Information Technology management .is granted the title of ( IT Assistant Technician ). The graduate of Statistics and Information Techniques is granted the title of ( Technical Statistical Associate). The graduate of Accounting Techniques is granted the title of (Assistant Accountant). Admission Interventions in the College’s Departments for both morning and evening Studies: The college accepts graduates of Preparatory schools for both (the scientific) as well as for (the applied) branches and graduates of (the literary) branch. They are accepted in the departments of business administration and accounting techniques Also graduates of Preparatory schools for the applied and scientific branches are accepted in the departments of electronic management techniques and statistics and informatics techniques. College postgraduate studies: In addition to the four departments mentioned, the college has been providing since 2019 an ambitious scientific plan in the field of graduate studies and its specialized departments It grants its students a technical master’s degree in their field of specialization The college includes a master’s study and a higher diploma in the Department of Business Administration Techniques, as well as a higher diploma in the Department  of Information Technology management and Ph.D. study in the Department of Business Administration Techniques. .
