Under the patronage of the respected President of the University and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the Institute, the Department of Electronic Technologies, in cooperation with the University Quality Assurance Unit at the Institute, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Obstacles to Sustainable Development” during the current month of January.

The seminar was delivered by Asst. Lecturer Ghaith Thaer Fadhil and was attended by a number of the Institute’s staff members.

The seminar aimed to:

1. Eliminate poverty and improve living standards.

2. End hunger and achieve food security.

3. Provide good health care for all.

4. Ensure inclusive and quality education.

5. Achieve gender equality.

6. Provide clean water and proper sanitation.

7. Ensure access to clean and renewable energy.

The seminar highlighted the importance of:

Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into national policies.

Promoting good governance and combating corruption.

Investing in education and scientific research.

Strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors
