The President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, inaugurated the university’s festival titled “A Touch of Joy for the Cultures of Peoples” at the Kirkuk site.

Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the university launched its annual cultural festival under the theme “A Touch of Joy for the Cultures of Peoples” at the Kirkuk site, in a distinctive festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of diversity and intercultural convergence.

The festival witnessed wide attendance from faculty members and students, alongside active participation from various departments and units of the university. The activities varied between artistic and heritage performances, as well as pavilions representing the cultures of different peoples, showcasing the richness of human heritage and the spirit of peaceful coexistence.

In her opening speech, the University President emphasized the importance of such events in promoting values of tolerance and cultural openness among students, praising the efforts of the organizers and their role in highlighting students’ creative potential.
