The Northern Technical University continues its outstanding performance in the NURAI 2026 Championship, demonstrating a notable competitive presence.
According to the official statistics of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications – NURAI 2026, the Northern Technical University recorded an active participation with 60 university teams from its various colleges and departments, totaling 242 participants under the supervision of 50 mentors. This achievement reflects the strength of its academic presence and its high level of readiness to compete at the national level.
This qualitative participation embodies the university’s continuous commitment to developing its students’ skills in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced technologies. It also confirms its success in providing an academic environment that fosters innovation and is capable of transforming knowledge into practical applications that compete strongly across Iraq.
This distinction was crowned by the Northern Technical University securing second place in terms of the number of participating teams among all public and private universities, further strengthening its position as one of the leading institutions in supporting creativity and building future competencies.
