 Al-Sahib in consolidating relations between Iraqi universities, the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, led a delegation that included the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafeh Mahmoud, and a number of department directors at the University Presidency, a visit to the University of Kirkuk and in the presence of Mr. President Al-Karkh University of Science, the President of Tikrit University, the President of Al-Hamdania University, and Professor Dr. Abbas Taqi, the former President of Kirkuk University.

She was received by the President of the University of Kirkuk, the assistant president of the university, and the ladies and gentlemen, deans of the faculties of the University of Kirkuk. During the meeting, they discussed frameworks for joint cooperation in the scientific aspects, exchanging experiences, and agreed to sign a joint cooperation mechanism to promote the advancement of the scientific reality of both universities and at all levels. The President of the University praised Kirkuk, under the wise and distinguished management of the university president, and the great efforts that she and her Excellency have made in serving the university and the three governorates in which the university formations are located. She thanked the President of Kirkuk University for the warm reception.
