President of Northern Technical University Receives Nineveh Governorate’s Technical Deputy at Al-Nimrud Technical Institute.

The President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, received the Technical Deputy Governor of Nineveh Governorate, Mr. Khalid Al-Obaidi, at Al-Nimrud Technical Institute, in the presence of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Dhanoon Younis Dhanoon, and the Director of Al-Nimrud District. The visit aimed to review the institute’s current status and the remarkable academic, service, and infrastructural developments it has recently witnessed.

During the visit, the President of the University accompanied the guest delegation on an inspection tour throughout the institute’s facilities, including classrooms, scientific laboratories, and various academic departments, in addition to recently completed rehabilitation and development projects that have contributed to improving the educational environment and providing suitable conditions for students.

Mr. Khalid Al-Obaidi praised the significant efforts exerted by the University President, emphasizing that the progress and reconstruction taking place at Al-Nimrud Technical Institute represent an important step toward restoring life to this academic institution after years of neglect. He also commended the university presidency’s commitment to supporting educational institutions and advancing the reality of technical education in the governorate.

For her part, the President of the University affirmed that Northern Technical University will continue implementing its developmental plans and prioritizing the rehabilitation of infrastructure across all its institutions, in a manner that contributes to providing an integrated university environment worthy of its students and staff.
