															The Institute at a Glance
The Technical Institute of Mosul was founded in 1976 as a technical institute in northern Iraq. Initially, it offered two technology departments—mechanical engineering and electrical engineering—and two administrative departments—accounting and office management.

- To create an innovative educational system that aims to meet the current and future needs of the labour market and society, in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
Message
- To establish a distinguished technological environment and equip graduates with modern technical knowledge and skills in the business world, enabling them to compete in the labour market and contribute to the development and advancement of society
Objectives
				- To prepare mid-level scientific staff ready to enter the workforce and meet the general and specialized needs in the field of technical education.
- To be pioneers in the use of modern educational technologies and keep pace with global `scientific advancements.
- To develop curricula that align with scientific and technological changes as well as shifts in the labour market (creating a permanent communication channel between educational curricula and the labour market).
- To achieve high value to the segments of society that benefit from technical education.
- To contribute to completing the governmental structure of technical education by enabling top graduates to join corresponding technical colleges in their fields of specialization.
- Our goals align with those of higher education in Iraq, as we are an integral part of this system.
