MTI at a Glance
As the first technical institute in Iraq’s northern region, the Technical Institute of Mosul began its academic journey in 1976. It initially offered programs in two departments: the technical department, with branches for mechanics and electricity, and the administrative department, with branches for accounting and office administration. The institute currently offers a wide range of technical programs, following a long and successful period marked by creativity and innovation.

- The vision is to establish a technological higher education system with a renewed academic and applied framework. Quality will be a shared responsibility, built on meeting labor market needs and adapting to the institute's external environment. This will elevate the institute to the ranks of world-class scientific institutions.
