MTI at a Glance

As the first technical institute in Iraq’s northern region, the Technical Institute of Mosul began its academic journey in 1976. It initially offered programs in two departments: the technical department, with branches for mechanics and electricity, and the administrative department, with branches for accounting and office administration. The institute currently offers a wide range of technical programs, following a long and successful period marked by creativity and innovation.

Vision

To establish a technological higher education system with a renewed academic and applied framework, where quality is a shared responsibility, built on the foundation of meeting the needs of the labor market in accordance with the dynamics of the institute’s external environment, elevating the institute to the ranks of world-class scientific institutions.
