Providing the necessary knowledge to deal with communication technologies in its various fields. Mission
The Department of Electronic Technologies Engineering and Communications seeks to achieve the highest degree of scientific and practical benefit for our students through applied academic curricula in the specialty of electronics and communications that qualify them to enter the labor market, and respond to the requirements of the local community in this field, as well as prepare scientific cadres distinguished in performance that contribute to the transfer of technology to society, and keep pace with the requirements of national development.
Objectives
The specialization aims to provide the student with theoretical and practical skills
that qualify him to practice professions related to communication technologies and electronics through:
1- Studying the various designs of digital and analog communication circuits, analyzing them and controlling communication networks in terms of reading information, analyzing it and working to stabilize it.
2- Training students on the use of laboratory equipment and modern software to conduct and simulate practical experiments within an ongoing plan to develop curricula and educational programs.
3- Preparing qualified technical cadres that accommodate the work of electronic devices in terms of operation and maintenance to meet the needs of the community and work in government departments and the private sector.
4- Taking into account professional ethics and introducing the student to teamwork skills.
