Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar,
the Security Clearance Division and the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the Engineering Technical College / Mosul, in cooperation with the Center for University and Institute Security in Iraq, organized an awareness seminar on electronic blackmail and extremism, presented by a specialized security team from the Nineveh Security Directorate.

The seminar targeted students and staff of the college and focused on mechanisms for preventing digital blackmail attempts, methods used to lure young people through online platforms, as well as explaining indicators of extremism and how to handle suspicious cases and report them.

This event comes as part of efforts to enhance security awareness within the university campus and reinforce a culture of safe technology use, contributing to the creation of a stable and well-informed academic environment.
