Under the patronage of Her Excellency the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, Dean of the Engineering Technical College / Mosul, and within the University’s ongoing efforts to support scientific activities and advance academic internationalization, the Department of Unmanned Aircraft Engineering Technologies, in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies and in partnership with Plymouth University (United Kingdom), organized a virtual workshop entitled:

“Renewable Energy Integrated Systems.”

The workshop aimed to highlight the mechanisms for integrating renewable energy sources with conventional systems, as well as to present the latest technologies and intelligent solutions adopted in energy management. These efforts contribute to minimizing energy losses and achieving environmental sustainability, in alignment with contemporary global trends in the energy sector.

The workshop was attended by a number of specialized academic staff members, in addition to a distinguished group of postgraduate students.

The workshop was supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet, Head of the Department of Unmanned Aircraft Engineering Technologies. It was co-prepared by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Qutaiba Shanshal. This event forms part of a series of scientific activities regularly organized by the Department of Unmanned Aircraft Engineering Technologies to promote academic openness, enhance research capacities, and strengthen pathways for international scientific collaboration.
