The Northern Technical University organized a spring flower planting campaign with the participation of Meem Kids Kindergarten on the occasion of Sustainability Week.

Under the direction and in the presence of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Department of Media and Government Communication, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology Parks, organized a campaign to plant spring flowers as part of Sustainability Week, with distinguished participation from the children of Meem Kids Kindergarten.

This initiative aimed to enhance environmental awareness among children and students and to instill a culture of caring for green spaces and preserving the environment. Children participated alongside university staff in planting flowers in an atmosphere filled with joy and cooperation.

During the campaign, the University President emphasized the importance of involving children in such activities due to their positive impact on developing environmental responsibility from an early age. She also praised the efforts of those in charge of this event, which reflects the university’s commitment to its societal role.

This campaign is part of a series of activities organized by the Northern Technical University in celebration of Sustainability Week, aiming to promote sustainability concepts and encourage positive environmental behaviors.
