The Technical Engineering College / Mosul received one of the foreign students accepted under the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which is aimed at attracting Arab and foreign students wishing to study in Iraqi universities. A student, Murtada Mohammed Ahmed Al‑Amr, arriving from the Syrian Arab Republic and accepted into the Master’s Programme in Electrical Power Technology Engineering, was welcomed. This step comes as a reinforcement of the standing of Iraqi universities in the regional academic arena and as a consolidation of efforts for scientific openness and knowledge exchange with various countries.
