The President of the Northern Technical University attended part of the discussion of a master’s thesis at the College of Engineering in Mosul, specializing in computer technology engineering. The thesis dealt with the inclusion of a hidden watercolor image within an image as a symbol to guarantee the property rights of the owner of the image and its application to the Raspberry Pi card and the Jetson Nano card as means of implementing the work And dispense with the calculator.
The thesis submitted by the student Noor Mohammed Abdul Wahab Mohammed discussed the possibility of implementing the cards on the MATLAB program and obtaining the same results. As well as obtaining a way to include the water image information within the host image after dividing it and including each (bit) in one of the blocks for all its contents, in order to increase the tolerance of the embedded image to any noise or attempt to blur the watermark image. she used Matlab language for programming on the calculator and Python language for programming on cards, and the performance was identical between them.
The thesis aims at:
Adding a watermark image that is hidden inside a host image to ensure the property rights of the host image. It also achieved the use of an easy method of embedding and detection with a means of encryption, and at the same time obtaining reasonable resistance to threats such as noise, and attempt to tamper with the water image.
To facilitate the work, the application was made on an accurate controlling card of two types to know the details of the application and the speed of implementation.
The assistants of the president of the university for scientific and administrative affairs, and the dean of the college also attended part of the discussion.
