In application of the principle of cooperation, participation and openness to educational institutions in Nineveh Governorate, which its sovereignty has always maintained, the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanoon Yonis Thanoon and the Director of Student Activities Department, began to open The doors of the university to receive the students of the School of Gifted Students in our dear province of Nineveh to conduct a sports training unit appropriate to the ages of the students, which included physical fitness and a simplified explanation of football, volleyball and basketball games and how to practice them. Her Excellency spoke, saying that the university is ready to provide all the logistical requirements for the success of this training unit and other future activities. The school’s teaching staff extended their thanks and appreciation to the president of the university for her many and great initiatives in serving all state educational and service institutions in Nineveh Governorate.
