The Statistics and Informatics Technologies Department, in cooperation with the Psychological and Educational Counseling Unit, organized a workshop entitled The danger of drugs
Where the workshop was delivered by Dr. Agmad Najim Sheet Al-Shalawi / Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, and a group of college students attended the workshop.
The workshop covered several topics, including:
- Definition of addiction.
- The danger of drugs to health in general.
- The danger of physical drugs on the mind and body, such as the nervous system, digestive system and liver, as well as their effect on the blood.
- The danger of drugs on society and its negative impact on it.
The workshop recommended the need to preserve human health, and the physical, social or other conditions that a person is going through should not force him to take drugs.
