Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul Barr Ahmed Nouri, the Department of Plant Production Techniques organized a scientific course entitled (Collecting, arranging and preparing data for agricultural experiments for analysis using the SAS statistical data analysis program(.

The course dealt with:
- The correct method for choosing the appropriate design for carrying out scientific experiments.
- The course also included how to implement experiments in a way that ensures the accuracy of the results and the accuracy of collecting, organizing and analyzing the readings statistically using the SAS statistical analysis program.
The course was attended by a number of faculty members and graduate and undergraduate students in the faculty.
