NTU is a specialized university that meets the market needs and the requirements of the renewable energy. It qualifies thousands of students and enhances their productive academic skills. It has many scientific departments and branches such as (engineering, agricultural, administrative and medical) which grant technical diploma, bachelor, master, and PhD degrees. The university provides study requirements for both theoretical and practical aspects. Finally, the university includes 9 specialized colleges and 7 technical institutes distributed in the northern region of Iraq.

NTU Achievements
Northern Technical University (NTU) is one of the four public technical universities distributed over Iraq, except Kurdistan region , which has another three Technical Universities. NTU was established in 2014 after restructuring the foundation of technical education into four technical universities aiming at developing the students’ scientific productive skills.
We aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their chosen careers in the competitive markets.
