OVERVIEW
The Science and Technology Parks Department at the Northern Technical University is a vital department that aims to support innovation and entrepreneurship both within and outside the university. It achieves this by providing an integrated environment that combines skills development, technological incubation, support for entrepreneurial projects, and the commercialization of scientific outputs. The department comprises four main divisions that work in coordination and integration to develop the capabilities of students and researchers, enabling them to transform their ideas and projects into tangible products and applications.
VISION
To be a leading regional environment for Science and Technology Parks in supporting innovation, scientific research, and entrepreneurship, and a catalyst for creating an advanced knowledge economy based on modern technology and science.
Mission
To provide an integrated technological environment that fosters entrepreneurial ideas and research projects, and enables students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions, through building effective partnerships with the public and private sectors, and providing incubation and development services that support sustainable development and enhance the university’s role in serving the community.

Spreading a culture of innovation
Organizing workshops, conferences and training programs in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship, and encouraging students to innovate and participate in scientific competitions.

Strengthening digital transformation projects within the university, and adopting artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technologies in research initiatives.

Providing innovative technological solutions to address local challenges and support sustainable development projects.

Providing shared workspaces and creating platforms for communication between innovators and investors.

Evaluating submitted ideas, providing guidance, direction and follow-up, and providing technical and logistical support.
2. Managing technological workspaces
Equipping technical laboratories and innovation spaces, and providing a conducive work environment for students and researchers.
3. Organizing scientific events
Cooperation with institutions involves holding specialized conferences, seminars, and training workshops, and promoting student participation in scientific activities.

Facilitating the implementation of technology-related research projects, and supporting collaboration between researchers and industrial sectors.
5. Building relationships and partnerships
Communicating with companies and institutions to support projects, and signing memoranda of cooperation and strategic partnerships.

Developing training programs to empower entrepreneurs, and monitoring the growth of startups within science and technology parks.
