The Council of the Department of Unmanned Aircraft Engineering Technologies convened an official meeting chaired by the Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet, and attended by the department’s faculty members. During the meeting, several significant academic and organizational matters were discussed with the aim of enhancing both scientific and administrative performance. The most prominent points included:

• Implementing the directives of the President of Northern Technical University / Dean of the Technical Engineering College / Mosul regarding the adoption of automation systems and digital transformation. Particular emphasis was placed on the archiving system for activities and events, the organization of academic and administrative staff data, and the mechanisms for official student notifications, in a manner that strengthens institutional efficiency and aligns with the requirements of digital advancement.
• Intensifying and organizing scientific events, training activities, guidance programs, workshops, and specialized courses that contribute to developing students’ skills and refining their competencies, thereby qualifying them to enter the labor market with confidence and professional capability, in alignment with their academic and technological aspirations.
• Following up on the University Presidency’s instructions concerning the registration of scientific research papers published or accepted for publication in Scopus-indexed databases and submitted by faculty members of the department. It was decided that these works be referred to the competent Scientific Committee for review and approval in accordance with the approved regulations.

This meeting forms part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of academic performance, develop the educational environment, and support the advancement of scientific research in alignment with the University’s vision and strategic objectives.
