The solar energy project for students of the fourth stage, Department of Engineering of Fuel and Energy Technologies, Evening Studies at the Technical College of Engineering, Kirkuk enters its final stages.

In continuation of the campaign launched by the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, to support energy and reduce emissions, students of the fourth stage of evening studies in the Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering, Kirkuk Technical College of Engineering, are beginning to implement a joint graduation project entitled (Solar Cells) under the direct supervision of Mr. Head of the Department The teacher, Dr. Shaheen Mohamed Fakhr El-Din, and the faculty, where the solar cells were installed over the building of the department halls.

The project aims at:

• Equipping the department’s laboratories and halls with electrical energy using the solar cell system.
• It is hoped that this project will be completed within the next month and presented as a graduation project.
• This project is the first collective project at the college level and is of benefit and benefit to the student, the department, and the college.

For his part, the Dean praised this distinguished work, which reflects the technical accuracy and skill of the department’s students, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the department’s role in carrying out such works.
