An instructor from the Kirkuk Technical Institute presents the President of the Northern Technical University a book he wrote entitled (Endowments of Mosul and Kirkuk)

Based on the directives of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the university’s teachers discussed the importance of writing books, publishing scientific articles, in addition to conducting scientific research. Dr. Issam Salah El-Din Ali, an instructor at the Kirkuk Technical Institute, presented to the president of the university the second book he authored, entitled (The Endowments of Mosul and Kirkuk), which was printed in the printing presses of the Republic of Turkey and available on the pages of scientific websites.

the book deals with the history of our country / Iraq, especially the city of Mosul and the governorate of Kirkuk in the two centuries. The sixteenth and seventeenth AD under the Ottoman rule of Iraq, focusing on the cultural aspects, especially endowments, and relying on hundreds of documents published for the first time in Iraq and Turkey.

The idea and importance of writing this book come from two axes:

  1. The first axis: is what the city of (Mosul) Al-Hadbaa was subjected to in terms of total destruction at the hands of the barbarians of the modern era and terrorist organizations that destroyed all the archaeological and historical monuments in the city.
  2. The second axis: is to introduce future generations to the history of our dear province of Kirkuk (the city of brotherhood). In turn, the university president commended Dr. Essam for his outstanding efforts in writing books, wishing him more scientific brilliance.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Central Library Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Mawjood Hasan, and the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet.
