The instructor at the Technical Institute / Kirkuk, the assistant professor Dr. Sura Hashem Muhammad, Head of the Garment Industry Techniques Department, participated in the discussion committee of the thesis entitled (the impact of political pluralism in building the Iraqi state after 2003) at the University of Tikrit, Faculty of Political Science, presented by the researcher (Nashwan Ali Musheb Al-Khazraji).

The subject of the impact of political pluralism on the building of the Iraqi state after 2003 AD, as political pluralism is a type of social organization related to the basis and structure of the political system and various work mechanisms, with the existence of multiple values, ideas and institutions in the political system, and competition is open between political institutions in order to provide political freedom and not The monopoly of power in the hands of a certain person or party in order to advance the reality of the state, and political pluralism is a framework for dealing with differences so that this difference does not turn into conflict and collision that threatens the integrity of society, and all this leads to building a state of institutions based on freedom, equality and respect for the other, and through research and investigation we found Political pluralism was a recent experiment on the regime in Iraq. And that political pluralism, just as it has positives, also has negatives. Among the positives that this study touched upon is that it contributes to laying the foundations of the democratic system, and also political pluralism contributes to a better representation of societal components.
The thesis included:
Defining and providing the political system with the new elites that suffer from political pluralism in Iraq, and perpetuates political quotas and strengthens subsidiary identities at the expense of the national identity and also leads to weakening the unity of the system and delaying the approval of the country’s general policies.
After the student defended the contents of the thesis before the discussion committee, the committee decided to grant the student a master’s degree in political science with an acceptable grade.
