The Technical Engineering College / Mosul received a delegation from Al-Qadisiyah Girls’ High School on a scientific visit to the Department of Medical Devices Engineering Technologies, with the aim of acquainting the students with the academic environment and the practical applications associated with the field of biomedical engineering.

The visit included a field tour of the department’s laboratories, during which the students were introduced to the nature of modern medical devices, their operating mechanisms, and their vital role in supporting the healthcare sector. Faculty members of the department provided simplified scientific explanations about the specialization, as well as its academic pathways and professional opportunities.

The visit also aimed to enhance the students’ scientific awareness and to open early horizons for selecting future engineering specializations, in line with labor market requirements and rapid technological advancement.

This visit comes within the framework of the college’s openness to educational institutions and its support for initiatives that promote scientific communication and contribute to building a generation well-versed in applied sciences and modern medical technologies.
