The Student Activities Division at the Engineering Technical College organized an art workshop titled “Artworks from Colored Paper (Origami)”, which focused on drawings and the design of flowers and ornaments using the art of origami. The workshop was held at the division’s headquarters.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the Engineering Technical College / Mosul organized a scientific field visit for second-year students to the Qayyarah Gas Power Station, accompanied by the supervising instructors:

The visit aimed to enhance practical knowledge and link academic concepts with real-world applications in the field of electricity generation, transmission, and distribution. It also sought to enrich students’ hands-on experience, providing them with technical skills and specialized training.
During the visit, students received a detailed explanation of the power station’s operational stages and learned how to handle the equipment and technologies used within the facility, with an emphasis on adhering to safety and quality procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
