The Supreme Council for Quality Assurance at the Northern Technical University held its periodic meeting headed by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of all members of the Council, where the outcomes of the workshops held by members of the Iraqi Institutional Accreditation Council were discussed and the mechanism for starting to implement institutional accreditation standards at the Northern Technical University was discussed and determined gaps and remediation mechanism. For this purpose, the Council decided to nominate members to follow up on the implementation of all institutional accreditation requirements in university formations, in addition to nominating members to follow up on international classifications, national classifications, and standard specifications, and to set time plans for the purpose of implementing all quality requirements and follow up on implementation processes by developing well-thought-out plans and a clear strategy.
