On the sidelines of the visit of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, to the University of South Carolina and West Virginia University, the two Americas, the President of the Northern Technical University and the accompanying delegation, represented by the Assistant President for Academic Affairs, visited the Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafi and the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department Dr. Harith Akram Hammoudat, the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Washington, and Her Excellency met with the Cultural Attaché, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Zubari. The President of the University reviewed the details of her visit to American universities, the terms of the agreement, and the details of the cybersecurity project won by our university, which was submitted by the American IREX organization, and expressed his happiness with these achievements. It is considered the first of its kind at the level of Iraqi universities. In addition, the President of the University reviewed the scientific achievements of the previous period and the university’s ambition to provide the best possible for the university’s employees and students. At the same time, the cultural attache expressed his full readiness to assist the university in all fields, in addition to discussing a proposal to create a center specialized in English language (TOEFL) in our university. At the end of the meeting, the President of the Northern Technical University presented an introductory guide about the university to the cultural attache, and also expressed her thanks and appreciation to everyone for the warm reception.
