The President of the Northern Technical University participates in the Roanca Forest Project

In support and encouragement from her Excellency, in supporting initiatives to make Mosul green, as part of the campaign that was launched from our Northern Technical University and in cooperation with the Mosul Eye Foundation, which was distributed in different areas in Mosul. Al-Wahab Abdul-Qader, Dean of the Technical Institute of Mosul, at the launch of the Rawanka Forest Project initiative. The goal of this project is to combat climate change, and it is implemented by the Rawanka Foundation in Iraq over several years to motivate and prepare the community to plant huge trees in the destroyed forests and will also contribute significantly to reducing the Consequences of climate change The project includes planting 5,000 eucalyptus trees in an area of ​​8 dunums in the Mosul forests with the appointment of workers to work in a legitimate way, money for work. On this occasion, the university president gave a speech in which she urged the Mosul community to contribute to supporting clean energy and making Mosul green.

I reviewed the number of forests planted in our dear university, which exceeds 1,400 trees.

She also addressed the intensification of efforts in the research aspect and the preparation of research and studies by researchers and academics, urging them to save the environment in the province in particular and Iraq in general.
