The Department of Medical Devices Technologies Engineering at the Engineering Technical College / Mosul, in cooperation with the Scientific Division and (Runkles Company / United Medical Company / Al-Sayyah Company – Ahmed Office for Medical Devices) organized a scientific course on how to maintain and install medical devices and occupational safety.

On its first day, the course dealt with introducing the course curriculum, which will consist of a theoretical part and another practical application with the devices, as well as introducing the participants to the basic principles of professional safety in dealing with the types of medical devices used in health care, as well as how to connect them and deal correctly with them in diagnosing technical faults and taking care of the accessories of each device.

The opening session was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Khaleel Najm, and the Scientific Associate.

180  trainees participated in it.

The duration of the course is 14 days.

• A number of engineers and graduates working in the Ministry of Health and medical device companies.
