The President of the Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, met in her office in charge of the training course in the field of beekeeping
Which took place under the auspices of her Excellency and the supervision and presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and concluded its work organized by the Division of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the Presidency of the University and in cooperation and support from the Aghsan Foundation for Agricultural Development and Environment
Which lasted for a whole month and with the participation of several university employees interested in this field. The course included several important topics, including:
1) A comprehensive definition of the beehive, how to take care of it, the most important bee products, and how to benefit from them nutritionally and economically.
2) The dates of sorting honey and examining the cells, what are the most important diseases that affect bee hives, how to treat them, and taking the most important preventive measures.
3) Urging the participants to pay attention to the field of beekeeping to provide natural sources of nectar throughout the year and to stay away from the use of artificial feeding and nutritional supplements.
At the end of the course, participation certificates were distributed to the participants. Attending the session are:-

• Ms. Hind Amer Al-Obaidi / Master’s degree in Insect Diseases (Bees).
  At the end of the meeting, the university president commended their efforts in the field of developing research and projects related to this field, as well as other agricultural fields such as mushroom cultivation and production because of its great economic and nutritional benefits.
