The President of the Northern Technical University hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The President of the Northern Technical University, Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Atar, met with the esteemed Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, to discuss matters related to academic and scientific affairs.

During the meeting, she highlighted the significant achievements made in various fields, including scientific, academic, and infrastructure developments, as well as recent initiatives. She also pointed out the rapid progress in the university’s construction campaign and the scientific achievements attained in a short period, which have qualified the university to achieve advanced positions in global and Arab rankings, underscoring the significant development across all sectors.

The meeting addressed the minister’s unwavering support for the Northern Technical University and its institutions, with Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi praising the university’s work and the noticeable progress in all areas, including its advanced rankings in both global and local classifications and the increased publication levels with outstanding metrics.

The minister affirmed the role of the Northern Technical University in achieving the education strategy, particularly in technical education, and expressed gratitude for the university’s commitment to scientific perspectives and its international contributions to enriching higher education to reach the standards of developed countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the president expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for his continuous support of the university and his efforts to enhance its academic and administrative standing.
