President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Al-Attar, inaugurated new advanced laboratories in the Department of Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing Engineering Technologies at the Technical College of Engineering for Computers and Artificial Intelligence in the presence of the Dean of the College, assistants and heads of scientific departments. This step comes within the university’s commitment to enhancing technical education and developing scientific research, as the Deanship of the College seeks to provide an integrated educational environment that allows students to access the latest technologies and advanced tools.
By using these advanced laboratories, students will be able to acquire the skills necessary to meet the challenges of the labor market in the fields of cybersecurity and cloud computing, which contributes to enhancing their capabilities and qualifying them professionally. VCloud technology was employed, which is an integrated solution from VMware used to create and manage a private or hybrid cloud infrastructure. This technology helps institutions provide an advanced virtual environment that allows users to access computing resources flexibly and securely, such as servers, data storage, and networking, without the need to manage physical devices.

vCloud allows universities and educational institutions to connect devices to a virtual network, making it easier for students and teachers to access an integrated educational environment that simulates real work environments.
