The Northern Technical University in Community Service

Under the sponsorship and guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and within its active role in serving the community, especially in the most affected areas, the Northern Technical University, represented by the Projects Construction Department, organized and participated in a field visit to the Sinjar district to assess the targeted areas within a study to determine the possibility of establishing an experimental rainwater harvesting project, which is being implemented by the Northern Technical University in partnership with the International Solidarity Organization and funded by the AFD as part of an integrated project for “Building the Capacity of Civil Society and Local Stakeholders in Nineveh Governorate to Improve Water Resources Management in the Context of Climate Change in Iraq.
