OYAPS_IQ Team Secures First Place in CTF Competition at SulyCyberCon.

Under the dedicated supervision of the esteemed President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Dalal Bashi, the OYAPS_IQ team—representing the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering and Cloud Computing at the College of Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Northern Technical University—continues to shine in the CTF competition at SulyCyberCon. The team successfully claimed the top position after more than 24 hours of intense, high-level technical challenges.

This competition is one of the largest events in the field of ethical hacking and information security, where participants compete to capture the flag (Flag) by legally and securely penetrating systems. It provides them with an opportunity to test their skills in vulnerability analysis and cybersecurity solutions.

This distinguished event is jointly organized by the University of Sulaymaniyah, the IQ Group, Digital Training Academy, and the SulyCyberCon Conference. It marks the second edition of the CTF competition and the first specialized gathering in electronic information security.
