Northern Technical University hosted the ministerial team responsible for managing the laboratory equipment platform.

Northern Technical University, through its Scientific Affairs Department, held a scientific workshop titled “Laboratory Equipment Platform,” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Research and Development Directorate / Entrepreneurial Projects Department, during the period from February 16-17, 2025.

The workshop targeted all laboratory officials and authorized personnel from public and private universities in the northern region. Dr. Ali Qasim Saeed represented our university at this workshop, which aimed to develop academics’ skills in using the digital platform and enhance the efficiency of operating modern laboratory equipment in scientific research and education.

Dr. Thaer Mun’im Hamid, the head of the team and director of the Entrepreneurial Projects Department in the ministry, along with Ms. Shahd Jasim Hassan, a programming official from Babylon University, presented a lecture on the platform’s operational mechanisms and ways to utilize it to support research projects and scientific experiments. The role of laboratory officials in inserting data in available equipment and managing electronic booking schedules by researchers and graduate students in Iraqi universities was also clarified.
