The results of the British Times Impact Rankings for Sustainable Development 2022 were announced for international universities, where 47 Iraqi universities appeared in the rankings for this year, and the rating included an evaluation of 1406 universities from 106 countries. Our university registered an official entry to all 17 sustainable development goals. The statistics of the classification indicated that our university achieved advanced positions in a number of goals at the level of Iraqi and international universities:
- Fourth place locally in goal 6 (globally 301- 400), goal 10 (globally 401 – 600), and goal 13
- globally (201- 300)
- Fifth place locally in Goal 5 (globally 401- 600)
- Eighth place locally in Goal 14 (internationally 301- 400)
Congratulations to our university and congratulations to its leadership represented by the president of the university, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar due to the great efforts made by Her Excellency to enhance the reputation of the Northern Technical University globally on the scientific and academic level through the hard and diligent work of the university presidency with all its cadres to achieve the university’s goals.
