To encourage postgraduate students and support the scientific advancement in our university, which we have seen in a record time, the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, attended a part of the discussion of the technical master’s thesis specializing in business management techniques tagged (green manufacturing and its implications for adopting broad bequest: a comparative analytical study of opinions Managers working in the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries/Maternal Clothes Factory and the National Company for Home Furniture Industry in Mosul).

The thesis submitted by the student (Rahma Qais Yahya Hassan) aimed to determine the impact of green manufacturing strategies in adopting the foundations of a broad bequest in two companies: the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries / Ready-made Garments Factory / Baby Clothes Factory (my son) and the National Company for Home Furniture Industry in Nineveh.

Part of the discussion was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafeh Mahmoud, and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Samir Taha Yassin, the Director of the Graduate Studies Department at the university, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and a number of faculty, faculty and graduate students.

The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the possession of the leaders of the researched organizations with perception and understanding of the expressive dimensions of each of the green manufacturing strategies and the foundations of broad bequest, in addition to the existence of significant correlation and influence between (the study variables) at the macro and micro levels.

The study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most prominent of which were that the managers at the highest levels of management in the two companies surveyed should support the concepts of green manufacturing and broad recommendation because of their importance to the company, as well as directing their attention towards adopting green manufacturing standards in all stages of their operations, and taking the opinion of customers regarding the products of the two companies and trying Constantly improving it.
