This progress is part of the university’s plan to enhance its scientific approach and develop various aspects, as set forth by the President, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, with her high dedication. This includes entering globally recognized rankings approved by the ministry. The university has also placed great emphasis on the global Green Metric ranking, which evaluates universities based on the sustainability of their operations and commitment to clean environmental standards. The Northern Technical University first appeared in this ranking in 2019 and has continued to progress significantly in both local and international positions since then, following the launch of the initiative to transform into a green university in 2020.
