Northern Technical University participates in the launch of the training program activities Start and improve your small business

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud

Our university, represented by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, participated in the launch of the training program “Start and Improve Your Small Business” “SIYB” organized by the International Labor Organization “ILO” with the support of the Dutch government and with the participation of (trainees) representing a number of Iraqi universities and government departments.

The training program includes supporting the displaced groups of young people and graduates in order to secure better livelihoods and provide decent job opportunities through:

  1. Supporting young people who want to generate a project idea by providing the basic conditions for project generation.
  2. Supporting young people who have a practical and solid project idea and working to adopt it and achieve it on the ground.
  3. Supporting young owners of existing projects by setting the necessary plans to develop and expand them.
