Under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, and with the support of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in embodiment of our university’s vision to develop teaching staff, our Northern Technical University participated in a training of trainers course for teaching methods towards blended education represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Fawaz Fadel Ali, Director of the Department of Affairs Scientific Member of the Committee of Experts to develop the Teaching Methods Curriculum, with the participation of a group of our university teachers, who are the Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Sabah Gerges, Head of the Department of Engineering of Medical Equipment Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Raafat Assi Hussein, Head of the Department of Business Administration Techniques, Dr. Harith Akram Hammoudat, Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, and Dr. Ahmed Najm Sheet, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Administrative Technical College, and Dr. Sama Adnan Raouf, Head of the Development Division. The course was held in the holy city of Karbala and hosted by the University of Warith Al-Anbiya. In its first week, the course focused on Training of Trainers (TOT) for modern teaching methods curricula towards blended learning.
