Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Women’s Empowerment Unit and the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Presidency of the Northern Technical University, in cooperation with Al-Masala Organization, organized a workshop entitled (Violence against women, causes and remedies)It included introducing the importance of the sixteen-day campaign to combat violence against women, which started on 11/25/2022 to 10/12/2022.The workshop touched on the concept of violence and its types.And the reasons for the increase in violence and mention the effects of violence on women.The workshop included several interventions by the attendees. The workshop was attended by the dean of the Mosul Technical Institute, several department directors at the university presidency, and a group of university affiliates and students.
