2022-06-26Northern Technical University organizes a workshop entitled electronic archiving of administrative books in the central library of the university
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Central Library Department at the Presidency of the University organized a workshop entitled: “Electronic Archiving of Administrative Books” in the Central Library of the University, and on the Central Library Hall, in person and virtually. Lectures in the workshop were given by:
- Mr. Ammar Ghanem Mahmoud
- Mr. Muhammad Qais Mahmoud
The aim of this workshop was:
- Save space that is consumed in storing the file format.
- Provide a backup copy of the documents for reference in case the assets are exposed to any problem or damage due to a human or natural factor such as (fire, theft, loss of some papers, weather factors, negligence) and other intended and unintended factors.
- Providing opportunities to view any information or documents outside and inside the institution, and making this archived information available for viewing by many personalities at the same time.
- It allows ease in the process of retrieval of the required documents, through many search methods, and more than one formula and method can be developed for the search.
