Northern Technical University is serving the community by launching a tree-planting campaign to enhance green spaces.

Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the campaign was organized by the Media and Government Communication Department, the Technology Incubator Unit, the Northern Volunteers Team, and the Office Affairs Department at the university. A large-scale tree-planting campaign was conducted in the town of Wana, aimed at enhancing green spaces in the university campus and its surrounding areas, as part of its efforts to support environmental sustainability and improve air quality. A significant number of trees and various plants were planted.

The university administration confirmed that this initiative is part of a series of environmental activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of afforestation and its role in preserving the environment and reducing pollution.
